Beer brewing course

There are many ways to find a beer brewing course in Pennsylvania (or whatever state you live in). Depending on where you are located, one of the local PA homebrewing clubs would be the best first place to start if you need a hands on beer brewing course. If you are able to read and follow directions, then I can personally recommend the great home brewer’s bible from Charlie Papazian The New Complete Joy of Home Brewing

If you can boil water, make soup, or cook anything for that matter, you may not really need to take a beer brewing course. Many of the home beer brewing kits available today give decent instructions to follow, and don’t forget google. There is always a great deal of information out there on the net that is just a few clicks away. Wikipedia has a nice little article on the topic of homebrewing. I also have an article that is a work in progress on the following micro brew website. One of our club members had made a little video of his homebrewing methods. Maybe someday we can get that up here on the website. If you still feel the need to take a beer brewing course before your first homebrew attempt, try to find someone from a local homebrew club to give you a hand. Or you could find out if your local homebrew supply store offers any lessons.

If you are looking for an advanced beer brewing course, or to become a master brewer you could always go to Berlin to Versuchs und Lehranstalt fur Brauerei, or the Siebel Institute in the states.

And remember, you don’t have to be a brewer
to come and share great beer!
